Osteopathy

As an osteopath, we focus on diagnosing and preventing injuries and pain in the muscles and joints. It works on the principle that wellbeing is linked to your bones, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues all working together efficiently.

What is Osteopathy?

We use deep tissue massage, stretching and physical movement of muscles and joints to increase mobility, relieve muscle tension and encourage blood supply to tissues to aid recovery. We are primary care practitioners, which means we are fully certified to treat you without you being referred by your GP.

At your first appointment, we will take the time to understand your medical history and lifestyle as this will help us understand exactly what is causing your pain and then treat the underlying problem rather than just treating the symptoms. This ensures we can achieve the best outcome for you.

Benefits of Osteopathy

Gentle, safe and
non-invasive treatment

Treatment is tailored to you and what we believe will work best for you. No treatment will be carried out without your informed consent. You are welcome to have a friend or relative attend with you if this makes you feel more comfortable.

Experts at treating muscle
& joint pain

It takes four years of training to qualify as an osteopath so we are highly qualified, regulated by the General Osteopathic Council and are fully insured.

Start living
life to the fullest

We all get joint and muscle problems and these can impact on your sleep, drain you of energy and stop you from enjoying your favourite hobbies. Your osteopath can help you.

Danielle Gadd

Hi, I’m Danielle and I have a Masters in Osteopathy from the London School of Osteopathy. I am also a qualified Animal Osteopath and although I mainly treat people, I spend my days off helping our four legged friends feel better as well.

I love the outdoors so running, hiking and horse-riding are some of my favourite chill out activities. But on a rainy day, there is nothing better than curling up on the sofa with a good book and a cup of hot chocolate in hand!

Gary Hickling

Hi, I’m Gary and I completed a Masters in Osteopathy at the University College of Osteopathy in London. I have also completed a postgraduate qualification as a Fellow of Applied Functional Science, completing the prestigious Gift mentor membership programme from the Gray Institute in the U.S. I love Osteopathy and how it helps the body heal itself naturally and its ability to help my patients recover from injuries and live a happier, healthier life.

I enjoy fishing to relax and my two favourite places to visit are; Costa Rica for its wildlife and untouched coastlines and Sri Lanka for its food and super friendly people.
