What is Reiki?

Reiki is a natural therapy that can work alongside all other forms of treatment. During a treatment, you remain fully clothed and can either lie comfortably on a couch or sit on a chair. The Reiki practitioner channels universal life force energy by placing their hands on or just above the recipient on different areas of the head and body.

Benefits of Reiki

The technique is used to remove blockages and clear stagnant energy where there has been injury or emotional pain. During a treatment you may experience a deep sleep-like meditative state, you may feel sensations of heat or cold, feel subtle pulsations in the body or ‘see colours’. After a treatment, people often report feeling refreshed and ‘lighter’.

Reiki can produce a very deep state of relaxation, the heart rate and blood pressure lowers. It instills a feeling of comfort and relieves emotional stress.
