What is Shiatsu?

Shiatsu can help with a wide range of conditions - from specific injuries, to more general symptoms of poor health. Whether you are suffering from specific symptoms, such as  headaches, back pain, arthritis or digestive problems, or if you are going through a stressful period in your life, shiatsu can help reduce pain and increase wellbeing.

Everyone can benefit from shiatsu, my clients range from 4-84 year old  and even if you don’t have any specific health issues, receiving shiatsu just makes you feel good!
Reduce pain and tension

Tension and pain is reduced through a range of hands-on techniques. Pressure and gentle stretches are applied where needed, as well as working specific acupressure points  and meridians with hands and thumbs. You will feel looser, lighter and deeply relaxed after Shiatsu.

Shiatsu is a deeply relaxing, yet invigorating therapy and regular treatment can help prevent the build up of stress in our daily lives. Shiatsu induces a deep sense of wellbeing and the benefits generally continue after the treatment.

Hello! My name is Fiona Carson and I have been working as an holistic health practitioner for 20 years, using zen shiatsu, energy healing and kinesiology to help my clients with a wide range of ailments.  Every person is different and my sessions are individually tailored to suit your needs.

My mission is to help you feel better on every level, and to support and empower you to connect with your body and your deepest levels of self, in order to heal, grow and thrive.
